I just wanted to share a brief talk I gave as I accepted the humanitarian award from the Fountain House two weeks ago here in New York City. I never spoke in front of 600 people before, and I was a bit nervous and flubbed a few lines… but I think the overall message came across — mainly that we need to believe in each other in order for us to get through life. Trigger warning: talk of suicide. Grateful to the Fountain House for giving me this opportunity to speak from the heart.
Does this talk resonate with you? Would love to know your thoughts! Just reply in the comments section, thanks!
